The new model will seek to improve communications and increase member engagement in an age when the workforce is increasingly remote.
MILWAUKEE — Apr 1, 2022 — United Adworkers today announced the organization will be implementing a new membership model in which any membership purchased as part of a bulk agency order must be assigned to a specific employee’s email address. The policy is effective as of April 1, 2022.
“Gone are the days when a supervisor or agency owner can wander through the office halls and remind a group of employees all at once about an upcoming event they might want to attend,” says United Adworkers Board President, Cory Ampe. “Keeping up with United Adworkers events now requires relying on a few select individuals to stay on top of their inboxes and disseminate important information to the appropriate recipients in a timely manner. As we’ve all learned over the past two years, that doesn’t always happen.”
Participating agencies will be asked to provide a list of employee names (first and last), as well as those employees’ email addresses by April 30, 2022 for any memberships purchased as part of a bulk order between November 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022. Members’ contact information can be emailed to admin@unitedadworkers.com
To ensure a membership doesn’t go to waste in the event of employee turnover, memberships can be reassigned to a different employee’s email address at any time by contacting United Adworkers.
In the approaching months, being a member of United Adworkers will come with additional perks like discounts to local venues and businesses, as well as exclusive access to content and programs from partner organizations.
