It was the initial ask from the band that gave rise to this concept: “We’ve got something big headed to Milwaukee in November, are you up for doing the promo materials?” How big is big? Like a gorilla-wearing-a-fez-cruising-down-I-94-atop-a -semi-big? The concept was rendered in two color using no brushes or filters, all of the textures were made by hand (flinging paint off a tooth brush, that sorta thing). The art was used in digital applications, social media and merchandise.
